Win 7 Sysprep... Office 2013

Does the Windows 7 Sysprep remove the SID for Office 2013? Just I know Office 2010 needed a script to allow KMS activation if it was included in an image. I have included Office 2013 in our images for rolling out Windows 7 at Easter.

 

Anyone have any ideas?

Doubtful, it has a separate KMS just like 2010 so it almost certainly requires a separate reset.

assuming its the same as office 2010 then no you have to run a command before you take the image (from a dos prompt so you can see its worked)

go to C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\microsoft shared\OfficeSoftwareProtectionPlatform\

and run OSPPREARM.EXE

 

again assuming 2013 is the same as 2010

Sounds good. But I have found that the OSPPREARM.EXE is located elsewhere

 

From MS SITE

 

Go to %installdir%\%Program Files%\Microsoft Office\Office15. If you installed the 32-bit edition of Office 2013 on a 64-bit operating system, %Program Files% is the Program Files (x86) folder

 

At the command prompt, type ospprearm.exe. If the rearm succeeds, the following message displays: “Microsoft Office rearm successful.”

 

So will use your idea and then modify the path.
