[android] Argos to release its own tablet

Not to be outdone by Tesco, Argos, (the holder of the laminated book of dreams*) is launching it's own Android tablet called the MyTablet and is apparently aimed at the 'tween' market. It's £100, but way down in the spec wars compared to Tescos Hudl:

 

1.6GHz dual-core processor

1024 x 600 display

8GB of built-in memory

Wi-Fi and bluetooth connectivity.

Given the £20 difference, I'll still want the Tesco one (sold out in Chorley last weekend), and I'll bet the kids won't want a low spec tablet either!

Argos' tablet is too expensive given its specs IMO. They really shouldn't have bothered.
