I don't want to add up the contents of B column. I need to count it only if the names matches for example something like. =COUNTIF(A:A, "Peter") AND (B:B, "3"). I only want it to count it if it matches both condtions. Didn't explain it very well in my previous post.

I have a excel spreadsheet I have a list of names going down in column A and data going down in column B. So basically I need to count the data in B but only if the name in column A is correct.

Has anybody used this software before? We are a Primary looking into this.

We have previously (before I was employed here) been using Chart-It software for Year 1 pupils to create charts. Unfortunatley due to this software being created in 1994 and no support offered anymore and not being able to use it in the new XP suite. I don't see how it was ever used before to be frank. I need an alternative. Freeware would be ideal. Any ideas?

I have a problem with Rnager Primary. I have installed it in an ICT suite with 30 client machines and 1 teacher station. Around 24 of the client machines can be "seen" by the teacher station but the remaining 6 can not. I have reinstalled on the teacher station with version 9.01 (I think). But the same thing happens. Interestingly enough, I installed the tutor software on a seperate machine and it could see the remaining 6 client machines that the teacher station can not "see". So I am almost happt to say it has nothing to do with client machines but it is the teacher station not "seeing" the remaining 6. Any ideas?

Yeah that's what I thought might be the solution, the only problem is its my core switch controlling the entire network!

I have been telnetting my HP 6108 Procurve Switch to install a firmware update. I attempt to telnet again and I get the error message "Sorry, the maximum number of telnet sessions are active. Try again later." Any ideas?
