Forcing Restrictred YouTube in Netsweeper

Morning,

 

Having a bit of a mare,

 

Recently moved across to Schools Broadband, when tendering we were told we can set the default YouTube filtering level to restricted (as you can in Smoothwall etc) however now that Netsweeper is in place it appears that this isn't possible.

 

Has anyone had any luck with the above at all? Its been a couple of weeks of requests to Schools Broadband however not really had any solid resolutions yet, white listing individual addresses isn't a sufficient resolution!

I'm not familiar with Netsweeper at all, but do you know what method it is trying to use? You can force restricted mode either through altering the HTTP request headers or DNS redirection. I've DNS redirection working in my environment on a Debian VM running Bind.

I find it odd that it can't be done on Netsweeper - maybe if you press them a bit. Otherwise DNS redirection seems to be the best choice.

We have it set up in Netsweeper by adding a URL entry to add request header:
