We have a photocopier here which is connected to a PCounter terminal used for Printing & Photocopying. It is currently setup to be print release (which works) and also photocopying if a user swypes their card. However, it allows photocopying without authentication. The Pcounter terminal has the same config as another one which works as expected and I have spoken to the suppliers for PCounter and the Printer/Photocopier and have been told there is a setting on the photocopier which tells it to wait for the terminal at boot. And I have also been told that there is no software to configure on the photocopier.

So while I bounce back between companies trying to find out what configuration I can check, can anyone provide me with any help in where the settings should be for a Ricoh Printer to use PCounter terminals please?

Yes, they were the one's who pointed me in the direction of Ricoh. As the PCounter side of things seem to work they suggested it was something to do with the photocopier not waiting for the terminal for photocopying. Our support for the terminals has expired so I wanted to check the config before we call them out as I expect it's something we could fix ourselves but I cant see where to start.
