Bankesy Posted October 5, 2023 Posted October 5, 2023 Good morning, Has anybody got a policy template for the use of AI that they would be happy to share with me please? Also appreciate general feedback on the different approaches you're all taking to the various different platforms, our SLT want to keep it very open for staff and students but educate on correct use. I wanted to block the most common platforms for everyone minus a smaller group of staff to establish best practices before introducing more widely. Thanks
simpsonj Posted October 5, 2023 Posted October 5, 2023 I had an email from Alan Mackenzie (e-safety adviser) yesterday morning that mentioned the following policy template: ICT Evangelist - AI Policy Template Only had a cursory glance, but might be helpful 2
PotNoodleTech Posted October 5, 2023 Posted October 5, 2023 Very timely - we've started to use some AI features. I can't see AI going away any time soon so I guess you'll get to a stage where if you say no to AI you'll be saying no to the internet?
Bankesy Posted October 5, 2023 Author Posted October 5, 2023 I would argue it's saying yes in the right way, start super restrictive and open it up with increasing confidence because at the moment it's just anybody can do whatever they want
