Fingers crossed, it looks like I've been able to uninstall them all fairly cleanly. I do agree with all the other comments on here about a rebuild, that will happen this year. In the meantime, I've cleared a lot of crud from this server and it looks / feels a better installation already. Oddly, I wasn't expecting any performance improvements - all the SQL services have been off for a while - it does feel like it is running better for the uninstalls and reboots

@Norphy is not wrong its not a great place to find yourself in, and I should have been clear that I say sort out the SQL means you will be taking an outage on the SQL service but I thought that had been covered further up this thread.

 

Either way I think you are rebuilding a DC and SQL server.
