My email is [email protected]

Occasionally I get mail addressed to [email protected]

i.e. no dot

As it happens, gmail accounts with dots in also have an alias of no dot. So [email protected] is a legit alias of my email.

So the strange thing is the mail i get to the alias is someone else's mail.

My email is def not compromised and I have 2 factor authentication.

The mails I get are typically signup mails where the signup mail is for verification and not required to log in so I request a password change on the account and then go through the account delete process.

Recently I've seen a dubious looking twitter account which had the language set to thai and a pornhub signup!

I get spotify promo emails in thai too.

It's hard to imagine someone has a similar prefix to mine and types it in wrong.
