Seasonal computer error.

My home computer, which is 3-4 years old, every year has a weird error between the months of November and May.

It stalls on boot with CPU Fan error. Wait 30-60 seconds, reboot, and it works. Today it started happening again.

I know that the cpu fan is powered on an auxiliary fan power point and not the labelled cpu fan point. It didn't seem to be a problem when I first built the computer (probably because it wasn't between Nov and May at the time)

It has been suggested that it's a temperature thing with the board and ambient room temperature.

In any event I'm reluctant to mess with the insides of the computer and it's not a big problem.

Still, must be a contender for the weirdest computer error ever :-)
