Hello, Can anyone help please? We are having problems with renaming Xibo Designs and would like to know where they are located. When you delete them and try and create another with the same name, it says you already have the same name so they cant have been fully deleted. Thanks in advance Lee

Yes the printer is networked and it has a static IP address. I do type the IP address into the address bar and get nothing. very strange, driving me mad!

can i also ask was it office 2013 that you were using that you found the fix for? seems to be only 2007 and 210 fix?

Hello, Any help would be really greatful. We have Xibo 1.6.2 and 5 client machines. Thare are all connected working fine. We have office 2013 installed on the clients and server. My problem is that powerpoint will play for a while and then decides to stop and actually open up powerpoint. Does anyone know any fixes to stop this and just play? thanks Lee

Create an ‘exam’ account and give the account administrator rights Putting wordpad and notepad on the desktop Start, all programs, accessories, RC on the icon, send to desktop Change the power settings Start, control panel, power options ‘Turn off the display’ and ‘put the ‘computer to sleep’ turn to never Change advanced power settings, change ‘hard disk’ and ‘display’ to never Disable word, excel, powerpoint and folder office 14 Start, my computer, c:\, program files, Microsoft office, office 14 RC on excel, properties, security, edit, add, locations (put in admin password), change the location to eg:- WGSB-08, ok, In the object name:- type ‘exam’, ok. Click ‘deny’ to all the tick boxes, apply ok Now do the same for ‘word’ and ‘powerpoint’ and up a level and on the folder ‘office 14’ Disable IE You need to take ownership of the folder to be able to make any changes Start, my computer, c:\, program files, Internet explorer RC on IE icon, properties, security, edit, add, locations (put in admin password), change the location to eg:- WGSB-08, ok, In the object name:- type ‘exam’, ok. Once you set up the new DNS server did that solve your issues for good? Deleting the macs out of AD, unbinding and binding again fixed the problem, sar far they are all working in terms of pupils being able to log onto them. Im just waiting for that call to say they are not working again Still cant figure our why im getting the error message in workgroup manager when i try to make any changes. Lee

Yes i have checked the time on the server and all is ok there. Yes we are using the AD accounts to log in too.

Hello, Please HELP!!! We have an Art classroom with 11 macs in running Mavericks. We have a mac server which copies user info from our windows active directory as we are a predominetly a windows school. We are connecting the macs to our active directory domain and also our open directory server. Our problem is that certain macs will allow pupils to lon on and others wont, the screen will shake indicating wrong login information however this is not the case as they can lon on fine to our wondows machines. Can anyone please help???? Im not sure if this will have anything to do with the problem but we use Deploy Studio to image our macs I have made sure that the macs have the time and date set to our windows DC so the isue doesnt lie here Any help would be great thanks Lee

Would that be under the 'driver package' RC the package you have just made and 'distributed content? thanks

Thanks for getting back to me In software library, overview, operating systems, RC on drivers and import driver. I put in the path of where the drivers are stored. Next. Click 'categories and create. Put in the laptop name and OK. Ok again and next. Click 'new Package', put in the name and network path of where the news drivers will be stored, press OK. Next selecting no boot images, next and finally ok On the task sequence its set to 'Apple Device Drivers' for each hardware device, 'Install only the best matched compatible drivers' Select drivers from all catagories or drivers in specific categories to be best made avilable during windows setup, 'Consider drivers from all categories Any help would be greate, thanks again Lee
