Yes thats the only downside, although ive heard there are ways to programme it to display multiple monitors using the GPIO pins. I haven't looked into that though.

No Problem! Using the supplied adapter that comes with the Pi. They are VESA mounted using this: https://www.modmypi.com/raspberry-pi/cases/vesa-mounts/vesa-pi-plus-raspberry-pi-b-plus2-vesa-case This is our biggest issue, currently we haven't had any stolen yet, however it can always happen. This has happened to us sometimes, either run the test as an admin (right click). Or delete the entries from: C:\users\%username%\AppData\Local\TDPClientData Then re-launch, it should work then.

This is normal, same issues here. When a password is changed it doesnt change the local keychain stored password. To fix this, upon login they are prompted with what they wish to do with their keychain, always select CREATE NEW. This will fix issues relating to internet access and permissions.

OneDrive is definitely not 100% bug free that for sure You cant upload folders for example. Our mac users use the onedrive via safari and chrome and both work well, we don't hear of any issues, except yesterday where a powerpoint wouldnt open online....But this turned out to be the fact the powerpoint was 1GB in size!!!! We tend not to use the APP too. Overall it works well and our staff do use it but like you mentioned its a struggle as they still use network storage, however this year ill be migrating everoyne to OneDrive anyway and we wont have home folders on a network storage so they will have to get used to it

Sorry to bump this but came across this thread while looking around (im new). You may already have tested this out but I thought id drop some info for you anyway. I currently have a few of these set-up at my work, I decided to try them out instead of the current WYSE Xenith's we currently use. Works well, You just install an OS to the Pi (pre-installed on the one you linked), called ThinLinx, once installed you simply choose how you want it to connect to your Citrix environment, I currently have it running in Web/Kiosk mode and its pointed at our storefront server. Ive popped some comparisons on this thread of some tests i ran to compare the 2 devices. Xenith2 (1000mbs Link) Raspberry Pi3 (100mb Link) Boot Time to logon screen (cold boot) 22sec 35 seconds Boot Time to fully loaded windows desktop (student) 40sec 33sec Boot Time to fully loaded windows desktop (staff) 50sec 40sec FPS Dropped during 720p video playback on 1min clip. Using Google Chrome (lower is better) 1920x1080 625 frames 15 frames Simultaneous application load times (Word, Excel, Powerpoint) in seconds. 8sec 5 sec Opening of large text file (31mb) 8sec 7sec The biggest increase we saw was the video performance. However there are some drawbacks to the Pi, see below: - No power button - OS installed on SD card - 100mb LAN port (no test indicated any issues though) Overall I liked it and when i presented the finding to my manager he was also impressed considering the cost of a Pi compared to a Xenith. We dont allow it, however we have OneDrive for staff and student storage as part of our O365 package. But even before OneDrive we still didn't permit it, I dont think a lot of colleges/Schools do.

Yes, I have tested this by selecting certain updates for a Win 10 Pro and Education install and whatever update I install (or dont) the Education version doesn't ever get the printers, its very strange. Ill also add that the printers are applied via Users not machine.

Hi All, We have a medium size collection of Microsoft Surface Pro 3&4's. (around 50) I noticed something strange the other day with 2 that were imaged with Windows 10 x64 Education, no printers appear via GPO? I did some troubleshooting and found the policy was applying via GPRESULT, however with any account (even admin) the printers would not map? So I decided to install Win 10 x64 Pro as a test and boom, they appear straight away? It seems as if the Education version of the OS does not like the Surface Pro's, I know it sounds crazy. We have around 30 devices running Education x64 on Laptops and desktops and the printers appear fine? Im kind of baffled, ive tried moving the devices around in the OU within AD and still no luck? Hopefully someone might have some ideas? Regards Dan

Update for this guys... The issue is in the %username%\APPDATA\LOCAL\TDPClientDATA folder. Delete everything from there and it works... We had the same issue.

Think I may have solved this since my post this AM I just manually set the Invigilator on each machine when logged in as the exam account using the ALT+SHIFT+F12 option. We can have up to 40 exams at once and we have multiple exam rooms which connect to the Invigilator PC in each room. Its because we have an Exam dept and they log into each Invigilator PC in each room to run the exam. Weird set-up I know but its legacy and here before I started. So does the admin console connect to the invigilator console? What I think they are concerned about is users having access to a server. Thanks for your reply!

Hi Guys, New here but have been reading through many posts in this thread and others about Pearson POP. Im basically in charge of the exam software at my work (college) and Ive had to recently upgrade an Invigilator PC. I have re-installed the dashboard on that PC and even re-installed ALL the clients in that room to point to the new PC.. However it wont auto discover? Nothin on the network has changed, VLAN's, Ports etc. Its annoying because the current fix ive found is to launch test player as a local admin, then manually add the Invigilator PC to start the test... Not great if you have an exam of 20 machines -_- Pearson haven't seen this issue before and have no idea... Great. Has anyone else had this problem? Any help would be much appreciated!! Dan
