Hi JScott I look after 15,000 devices in over 100 schools with Senso. Everything you mention is possible in Senso, plus more, and with the impending update about to drop, scheduling shutdowns and WOL will be a dream. The response from schools to Senso has been nothing but positive. In comparison, our previous software, schools weren't interested, and it eventually never got used by teachers. Safe guarding element is amazing for us. We have over 3000 violations today. Having the ability to spot trends really helps us support our schools. You should work in Politics. You dodged that one expertly. I've asked what element of Impero is going to the Cloud. Are you saying then, that the Impero Server will be hosted in AWS/Azure/GC... a hosted service or a true-cloud web service a bit like Senso.Cloud?? Would I be able to have access to all 15,000 of my devices through 1 interface? You've said "Cloud Hosted Interface" in your advertising, so I'm just interested what this means before I consider attending a webinar.

Hi Courtney Could you explain which element of Impero is actually moving to the Cloud, as you've said "Cloud Hosted Interface". To me, that sounds like you're essentially putting the console into the web browser, but servers, data etc still need to be hosted by the customer. Is that correct?

Time management??? Put a windows 8 build on a teacher PC, then you see the benefits. Put a windows 8 build on a computer a student uses, then you see the benefits. The response I've had from it has been outstanding. They find it so easy to use, no ones really bothered about the start button being missing. Its just a case of either moving the mouse to one corner, or simply pressing the windows key. How hard is that?!

Get a grip. I've got windows 8 across my school. Kids love it, teachers love it. Not had any issues with it. How it is it an awful release?? Its Windows 7 with Metro screen across the front of it. The issue with people and Windows 8 is the fact you have to do something different to press start. Pathetic really. I've got to agree with Robjduk.

Hi Ben I've been using WiDi in 3 of my schools now since September. On a most part its been a success and it works so much better than Apple TV. I've been using the Belkin Screencast devices which work a treat in most of my schools. I've also recently had the new Netgear PTV3000 sent to me by Intel to test. I have had issues though. 1 of my schools use Ubiquity wireless which the Belkin's dont seem to be a fan of. They randomly disconnect and sometimes its difficult to even scan for them. But I've used the PTV3000 and it seems to work alot better. We use Samsung Slate 7 on Windows 7 and the new Lenovo Twists on Windows 7 and 8 and the teachers love the freedom of it. Its worth testing out the Belkin to see if its any good, but make sure that your devices are also WiDi compatible! EDIT: Also a quick note. Though the Belkin devices are being sold as 2.0. They do upgrade to 3.5 on first use. Hope this helps.

Hi All, I'm after some software that can lock down Nursery computers that the kids use. I've seen this in other schools I've been in but can't for the life of me remember the name of the software. I want it so they are able to click on 6 or 7 main pieces of software that they use and nothing else. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
