Setting default start screen with default tiles

Has anybody managed to create a default start metro screen with only the default tiles that you want on it. I have one created through

the default profile which works fine once I image through WDS but then as soon as I add some more software it fills the metro screen

up again.

What method did you use to create the default profile? When I try via the copy method, none of the metro apps will open. It just shows the splash screen then exits.
