SimpleSi Posted February 6, 2013 Posted February 6, 2013 Another step forward Microsoft Got a class of pupils doing stop animation - went to load them into Win7 version of movie maker and found you can no longer simply click on an icon and narrate the movie. Didn't see that one coming - what' feature will be removed in the next version - importing video???? Simon
synaesthesia Posted February 6, 2013 Posted February 6, 2013 Very reason we use WMM 2.6 (Vista version) rather than anything else. It's upset some staff/pupils who use Live at home, especially as you can't export to older versions which is just daft. We've plenty of other software like Premier they can use instead or even Cubase to some effect but there's no way in hell movie maker live, or anything else Live is going near our network!
SimpleSi Posted February 6, 2013 Author Posted February 6, 2013 So - can I use the vista version in Win7 and if so where/how to I get it? Simon
SimpleSi Posted February 6, 2013 Author Posted February 6, 2013 Just seen http://www.edugeek.net/forums/windows-7/108015-windows-movie-maker-6-0-msi-help.html so maybe I'll be alright in future Simon
