Help blocking lineflyer needed.

Morning all,

 

I'm having problems blocking lineflyer from our network. All the little 'darlings' keep putting it in their home area and playing on it all the time. I've had no problem blocking the other games they've used but this one is really winding me up.

 

We're running Ranger and PolicyCentral but I'm unable to block it in either due to it not being a proper application.

 

Has anyone got any suggestions of how to do it?

What are they saving. e.g A SWF file?

Yea it's an swf file

Use a file restriction policy on your pupils home folders.

Use a whitelist for the flash mime type and file extension on your proxy/filter.

Also do a search through the homedrives for SWF and ZIP files. Any 'dodgy' files... disable the account. Make an example of these kids!
