edgertonteacher Posted December 2, 2012 Posted December 2, 2012 I have SMART 11 and am running on windows 7. I recently got my SMARTboard back after a 2 year hiatus. When I used to have my SMARTboard I could write over a powerpoint presentation without any problems. SMART used to allow me to write over anything on my desktop and now it will only allow me to use the pen as a cursor. Now when I try to do that my presentation simply scrolls forward. I can only use my pen in the Notebook and on powerpoint when I am not in presentation mode. I want to be able to write over a section of notes in my class but am unable to do so. Does anyone have an idea how I could get that wonderful ability back?????

Launch this and you should now be able annotate on different software. If this still does not work, then check its enabled in the new menu that appears in the far top right corner of the different software.
