We are currently seeking motivated and enthusiastic ICT Technicians to join our busy ICT Department. Your duties will include providing first and second line support for students and staff, helping to ensure the e-safety of students in the College and supporting the development of the ICT network.

 

Level 2 ICT Technician

£19,621 - £21,519

Ideally, you should possess the following skills:

- A thorough knowledge of operating systems, networking, hardware and office software;

- Experience administering either Windows Server 2003 or Windows Server 2008 R2 and sound knowledge of Active Directory, DHCP, DNS;

- Excellent problem solving, hardware diagnosis and repair skills;

- The ability to explain problems and solutions clearly to non-technical staff and students;

- You must be dependable, able to cope under pressure and work alone or as part of a team.

 

 

Level 1 ICT Technician

£8,157 - £8,952

20 hours per week, 39 weeks per annum

Ideally, you should possess the following skills:

- Maintenance of computer peripheral equipment;

- Installation and configuration of hardware;

- Routine checks of ICT equipment;

- Network maintenance including setting up, amendment and removal of user accounts as appropriate.
