owncloud AD setup

Hi all

 

We are trying to get owncloud hosted on server2008 R2 internally to connect to the domain controller also server2008 R2 via LDAP.

 

We get an error saying Error: 8 "Strong(er) authentication required"

 

we have checked that

1. Domain controller: LDAP server signing requirements = None
   
   
2. Network security: LDAP client signing requirements = Negotiate
   

so as far as we can tell there isn't anything suggesting we require strong authentication.

 

any ideas helpful
