Sibelus 6.2 Freezing on windows 7

Hi all,

 

I just wondered if anyone had suffered any problems with sibelius 6 and Windows 7 32. We ran it without any problems for at least a couple of years on stock Dell Optiplex 740's running XP sp2/sp3. However we upgraded to Windows 7 and added an M-Audio Fast Track audio interface along with Cubase 6 over the summer and now its extremely unreliable. For some kids it will last a whole lesson, for others just a few mouse clicks but it always seems to be when playback starts and stops.

 

Any ideas of suggestions would be appreciated, its driving me crazy.

Suppose you've tried running in XP compatibility mode?

Yes, Did not seem to make any difference. I am going to try a diffferent image in half of the room tonight.
