Windows 7 machines loose access to home share folder

hi All

After this summer we have really strange behaviour on some of windows 7 machines. Suddenly pupils when log in don't get their documents (they sit on the server), the mapping for documents drive is greyed out and when trying to access it, error message comes up. Documents from start menu just show local public files and that is it. When they move to different computer, all is fine.

I have spotted that if I login with an admin account I can't access student home folders, access denied - from not affected computers it works just fine. At the moment we just reinstall windows (WDS comes really handy) and that cures the problem.

Event log on the affected machine shows errors for folder redirections, can't find specified path.

Anyone had something similar or seen it or know resolution. It is not huge problems, just one computer here and there. Just would like to find what is wrong

It is windows domain, servers on win 2008r2, all students machines are windows 7, mandatory profiles and folder redirections.

Thanks

Kris
