Dell 3130CN Windows 7

Hi All

 

Just wondering if anyone has got the above printer working on Windows 7 x86?

 

I have been to Dell's website, and got hold of the drivers Dell say should work on 7 x86, I extract these and from the inf's find they are XP, 2000, and Vista

 

I try setting up the printer on a 7 machine with these drivers, and it doesn't want to work.

 

Has anyone else had this issues? and if so can I ask what drivers you are using?

We just installed this very printer on nine Windows 7 32bit machines this morning.

 

The file you want is on Dell's website and has x86 and x64 drivers. It is called 3130cn_PS_DRV_ENG_04-02-09-06_04-02-09-06.exe and the drivers are in 3130cn_PS_DRV_ENG_04-02-09-06_04-02-09-06\English\Drivers\Win_x86

If I PM you with my email can you send over the driver? That link just takes me to a general dell page and still can't get this dam x86 driver..

We haven't had any problems installing these printers on Win7 x64 using GPP.

They work perfectly (unlike most of our HP printers!!)
