Have MS released these yet?

There's a whole mass of GPOs that work on Windows 7, but are not picked up by Windows 8.

Whether this is because the GPOs have changed, or whether it's traditional MS fuckupery with a new OS release I haven't figured out yet!

you can copy all the ADMX files from a Windows 8 computer to the AD central store then you will get the new policies. you can edit these from a windows 7 machine, if you use a central store. though some of the stuff under the other settings don't come through like security settings

the policies on win 8 are in c:\windows\PolicyDefinitions

if you don't have a central store then its easy just browse the sysvol share on a DC and open the folder yourdomanename.local then Policies make a folder called PolicyDefinitions and copy the ADMX files into there. How to create a Central Store for Group Policy Administrative Templates in Window Vista

i've not had any problems with Administrative template policies applying to win8 either older ones or win8 specific ones...
