A colleague distributed this link today: How Apple and Amazon Security Flaws Led to My Epic Hacking | Gadget Lab | Wired.com

 

Dear lord, I felt sick reading it. It was well worth the 10 minutes it took me to read it and has made me seriously question how my accounts are linked together - Amazon and Apple specifically.

 

I posted it here as it relates to abuse of iCloud and cloud-related interconnectivity of accounts.

It looks like Matt got most of his data back, thanks in part to cloud-based backups and a data recovery company. :)
