ZeroHour Posted July 12, 2012 Posted July 12, 2012 You can view the page at http://www.edugeek.net/content.php?r=400-Site-Changes-Threads-are-marked-as-read-when-you-view-them-or-the-threads-forum
sonofsanta Posted July 12, 2012 Posted July 12, 2012 I don't know if it's related, but threads I'm subscribed to no longer seem to show up in the "What's New" searches... please feel free to correct me if this is a topic already covered elsewhere, but I don't recall it acting that way since v5 launched, only today.
ZeroHour Posted July 13, 2012 Author Posted July 13, 2012 They do show up but were marked as read as soon as you read them rather then timing out like before. Also due to the volume of posts your subscribed topics can be pushed through the pages. I am working on some improvements.
sonofsanta Posted July 13, 2012 Posted July 13, 2012 Also due to the volume of posts your subscribed topics can be pushed through the pages. Is that a hint Makes sense though. This may be my preferred because when there's an 8 page "what's new" I lose even more time in the morning catching up on what has been happening. 2 pages means I get to working much quicker. Mostly.
SimpleSi Posted July 13, 2012 Posted July 13, 2012 I lose even more time in the morning catching up on what has been happening. Time spent on Edugeek is professional development time (At least that's what I told my boss when he presented me with the internet activity logs ) Si
Cache Posted July 15, 2012 Posted July 15, 2012 Doesn't seem to be working for me - looked at the forum last night and threads that I read are read, threads that I didn't are still unread :/
