[sims] Sims database properies error

Hi Guys,

 

For some reason I cannot access properties of SIMS database in SQL studio manager, I get error in picture.

 

I found some instruction with taking ownership of database, but quite reluctant to do it, not sure how whole sims would take it. Anyone had that problem before?

The question is, do you have access rights? Can you connect to the server ok? Seems a bit iffy or like something has gone wrong on your db.

If you have rights, you should be able to move to test setup with your data and try things out.

As Vik says, if you're working at this level on your server, you should be an 'sa' user. If you have dual mode logins, log in as 'sa' and give your Windows user 'sa' privileges.
