Ipads for Classroom / Teacher use

Hi Everybody

 

I have recently received 25 ipads for classroom use by students, and about 5 or so ipads to be given to teachers and staff.

 

What is the best possible way for me to set up these ipads?

 

I have experimented with Apple Configurator which seems to be usefull for locking them down a little and setting up the ipads all in one go.

 

I'd like to get them connected to the network as much as possible in terms of the staff getting emails / seeing various documents.

 

Any ideas or wisdom you can share?

My apologise, I assumed it was more Apple Mac related than Netbooks, PDAs and Phones. Especially in terms of peoples Knowledge. Thanks for moving it anyhow.
