Sony Virtuoso

Anyone got experience of Sony Virtuoso? Our MFL Dept are looking at it, and I want to get a technical viewpoint on it - hardware requirements, installation issues, user permissions, etc.

Thanks, your web site is really helpful (in fact, I've just realised that we've got you booked to come and demo Virtuoso to us in a few weeks!).

 

I note from your site that you say HD audio cards are not supported - is that still the case? If so, we might have a problem as all our computers have HD audio on the mainboards (hasn't this fairly standard for many years now?).

I am guessing from your location but I think you are right we holding date in Reading to demo for the 4th July...

 

Re HD sound cards this is not a problem on 2 counts, one we recommend USB headsets with built in sound cards nas two now with our last version 12 of the Sony s/w upgrades the audio is also not dependent on any on board PC s/card anyway! I suggest I get one of our IT team to chat with you directly to verify any points of detail.

Thanks, that what I wanted to hear! Don't worry about getting someone to call me, just ensure that the people who visit us on 4th are aware that our evaluation will be from a technical standpoint as well as that of teaching and learning, so make sure they can talk technical.
