Webcam Ideas

Hey All,

 

The Schools wants to set up a webcam on our intranet, just for a bit of fun really. But I'm stuck at Ideas of what to have a webcam of. I'd like something that has some sort of progress so students can see it over time.

 

Anyone have any good ideas? Maybe something they have done in the past. We wouldn't want anything too high maintenance such as eggs etc.

On our company website we have a River Uck Cam - Its the biggest attraction and actually the Enviroment Agency use it to monitor the river¬!

No rivers near us I'm afraid, I did think about something in one of our gardens but a) it would require an outdoor cam and b) I've got a feeling that students would just mess around in front of it to get on the intranet etc.

Ours is indoor cam hidden behind a window! which at present appears to be rather dirty!

you could set it on the lawn so they can actualy watch the grass grow. Joke of course. how about over the school feilds mabe. or the entrace to the school. Just be carefull with permision etc from my experiance you have to aske every one if they are willing to give there permission first if its going online photo's videos webcams all the previous. to avoid law suits.
