Nick_ Posted May 28, 2012 Posted May 28, 2012 I'm trying to find the group policy template/setting or registry key that is responsible for the single click/double click to open a file/folder. I've tried everything I can think of and all the suggestions on the web. The generall cause of this seems to be the turn on/off windows classic shell, which I have set to off. The folder options menu is set to double click to open so it must be something within the profile I am loading but I can find nothing in the group policy templates I am using. Has anyone had the same problem? Any help would be appreciated!! Thanks, Nick
sted Posted May 28, 2012 Posted May 28, 2012 same problem only fix i found was to manually change the settings
sted Posted May 28, 2012 Posted May 28, 2012 how did you manually change them? open an explorer window press alt select tools/folder options then select double click to open an item rather than single
Nick_ Posted May 28, 2012 Author Posted May 28, 2012 I've already tried that one, it must be in the user profile i'm using
