Memory Issue When Copying .Mobi Files

I've got over 4,000 .mobi files to copy to an iPad. They need to be accessed in the Kindle app. They're mainly instruction schematics, the biggest file being around 700kb, but the average file size is around 400kb.

 

No matter how I try to copy them to the device I get an out of memory error. One at a time is fine but the moment I try to copy more than one we get the error. Is there another way other than through iTunes?

 

We've tried more than one PC and have the same error. It even does it on a PC with 16GB RAM.
