Print Queue Regular Errors

Don't know if anyone can shed any light on this?

 

We have a 2008 machine that acts as a print server - HP Officejet Pro 8000 inkjets deployed to the workstations via GPO. During everyday use, we seem to have way more errors that I would expect - particularly from our staffroom printer. I have to unblock the queue numerous times during the day. It also refuses to print larger jobs - if I send a single page of photos, it prints ok. Anything over that just sits in the queue and never goes any further.

 

Just wondered if anyone could recommend something?

You don't seem to be the only person having problems with these.

 

If you do nothing but print on one side of an 8.5x11 sheet of paper this is a great printer. If you want to do anything else, it's a PITA.

These are horrible printers and not supported by HP when used in conjunction with a windows based print server.
