This successful and popular Specialist Maths and Computing School wishes to appoint an ICT Technician to work as part of the ICT Network Support Team with special responsibility for the management of the school’s network.

We are looking for a suitably qualified/experienced individual to work with the school’s Strategic ICT Manager and Network Manager, supporting Tarporley High School’s ICT network infrastructure and PC hardware. For the right candidate this will be a challenging and extremely rewarding role. Duties will include assisting the Strategic ICT Manager and Network Manager in the management of the school’s network, installing, configuring, upgrading and troubleshooting PC faults, and installing applications and systems software. The post holders will also support seven of our partner primary schools’ networks

It would be desirable for applicants to be able to demonstrate experience of hardware maintenance, knowledge of Windows XP and Windows 7, as well as Windows Server 2003 and 2008, plus Microsoft software applications (i.e Office). A full clean driving licence is essential.
