[sims] Reporting on Cover

I've been asked if it is possible to run/design a report which shows how much cover each member have staff has done this year/week/today. It is the information that is displayed when in the cover module on .net. I can export the data for an individual member of staff, but we'd like to compare all staff as a whole. I can't find any way to design a report using the usual method (Reports - Design Report). Has anyone ever done anything like this? What's the best way of going about it?
