synaesthesia Posted March 28, 2012 Posted March 28, 2012 Would any kind person that uses primary school level behaviour reporting please point me in the direction of the two behaviour rptdef files for SIMS. NCC say it's on their site (along with anti-bullying documentation) - the doc is there, the files are not. Can't get hold of anyone in NCC that deals with that side of things. Capita give me some rubbish about having to use a northamptonshire specific program (Sinfo) to do it which works, but we don't want to do it on the server... (their solution is to remote to the server). It's blatantly possible to do it on a workstation, the rest of the country doesn't use any other method, and not all schools using SIMS in Northants use Sinfo. Much obliged to anyone that can
synaesthesia Posted June 29, 2012 Author Posted June 29, 2012 Joyous. Doing this report via sinfo renders our entire SIMS useless for anything between 30 minutes and an hour.Really pleases the staff here.
Sam_Brown Posted December 13, 2012 Posted December 13, 2012 Did you ever find the report at all? We're in a similar position where we need to run the report manually because SINFO won't work on our system. I have been given a 4 page PDF from someone at Capita saying what fields need to be in the report however creating the report is proving to be a right pain.
synaesthesia Posted December 13, 2012 Author Posted December 13, 2012 Afraid not, it's taken as is now. Ridiculous really
Sam_Brown Posted December 13, 2012 Posted December 13, 2012 The reason it won't work for us apparently is we have the SQL on a different Server to SIMs. I have requested a RptDef from Capita only to be told one doesn't exist and wouldn't work anyway due to the nature of the report! I've been sent a nice PDF with a list of fields that need to be in the report but I dont seem to be able to create a report based on them for some reason... Happy days.
synaesthesia Posted December 15, 2012 Author Posted December 15, 2012 I do wonder how those outside of Northants do it then.
Sam_Brown Posted January 24, 2013 Posted January 24, 2013 I got a RPT file e-mailed to me from Capita a little while back if you'd still like it.
