Wizzer Posted May 21, 2007 Posted May 21, 2007 I followed the instructions from here: https://help.ubuntu.com/community/forum/server/apache2/SSLhttps://help.ubuntu.com/community/forum/server/apache2/SSLhttps://help.ubuntu.com/community/forum/server/apache2/SSL which seemed to work ok, but If I try to access any page via https I get a page not found error. Have I missed something obvious?
Wizzer Posted May 22, 2007 Author Posted May 22, 2007 Now I've tried this: https://help.ubuntu.com/6.06/ubuntu/serverguide/C/httpd.html Which is similar but the Key generation process is different. Now when I restart Apache it asks me for my pass key and that is successful but I still get "Could not connect to host localhost." when I try to access https://....
Wizzer Posted May 22, 2007 Author Posted May 22, 2007 I'm a complete plonker, spot the error NameVirtualHost *:443 Doh!!
Geoff Posted May 22, 2007 Posted May 22, 2007 Linux problems usually turn out to be PEBCAK in my experience.
Wizzer Posted May 22, 2007 Author Posted May 22, 2007 I think in my case it is more like PEBEAB; "problem exists between eyes and brain"
