Flip Camera's - Are they still being scrapped

Did Cisco find a buyer for Flip? We are just looking to get some new ones and i want to make sure they are not still being scrapped.

Even if they are, at the cost it is negligible, when they break they can just be replaced, I would purposely buy more than you require as spares but they seem fairly robust even for the PE department hehe!

Yeah thats what i thought - I had a load of Panasonic Things which i bought last time which are good for video but not very heavy duty - all the writing and symbols have come off!

 

Any recommendations? Apparently they want video cam's not Digital cams that you quoted the other day!

Well, they also do the VPC-PD10 which has similar optics, and cheaper. Also, non of that was mentioned as a factor ;-)

Yeah my bad ! I've found another one which is about 130 ex vat which is slightly better!
