Field engineer required South Yorkshire

We are seeking to appoint a dynamic and enthusiastic ICT Technician to join our existing team of highly motivated technicians, in providing first class support for all ICT hardware, software and systems across a variety of platforms and operating systems within South Yorkshire primary schools. Applications are encouraged from candidates from an educational background. You will be mainly supporting primary schools and must have a good attitude towards working with children.

 

Applicants must have good experience in:

Server 2003 and Server 2008 operating systems

Administration and troubleshooting of Active directory

Administration and troubleshooting of Group policy

Good understanding of DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP

You will:

- Be highly motivated with a can-do attitude

- Have relevant qualifications and/or experience

- Be willing to undertake further training as necessary

- Have excellent communication/interpersonal skills

You will need to be CRB checked before working on school premises.

Standard working hours will be 38 hours a week Monday to Friday and may occasionally require overtime.

Applicants must have a full UK driving licence and own transport.

Salary £16,000 - £20,000
