will_ Posted January 27, 2012 Posted January 27, 2012 Has anybody found an alternative? We have some Windows machines with Clicker but the boxes at the back of my classroom are 9-year-old relics that I rescued from a skip and are really only up to Lubuntu.
morganw Posted January 28, 2012 Posted January 28, 2012 I doubt you will find an equivalent product. It might run under WINE but you might find it more useful and flexible to provide Windows applications using a terminal server and use the old workstations as thin clients.
will_ Posted January 28, 2012 Author Posted January 28, 2012 Okay, fair enough. I thought this would probably be the answer but it was worth a shot!
kabads Posted February 4, 2012 Posted February 4, 2012 I've often thought that this would be pretty easy to write - clicker doesn't do anything very complicated and pretty much spews out html files as output. I'm surprised that noone from the OS community has thought about writing an alternative. Now, if I had the time, I would do it myself. Ahem. :-)
