Cache Posted January 19, 2012 Posted January 19, 2012 Evening all We've got an Epson EMP-S4 projector which is as dead as a dodo at the moment, no powerlights, nothing. Had a call with Epson and they'll refurbish the projector for £150 including collection/return/parts which I didn't think was to bad actually, but wondered if anyone else knew whether the parts were easy enough to get hold of/replace or any other recommended nice projector repair people I could get a quote for. £150 is cheaper then a new projector after all. Cheers
TechSupp Posted January 19, 2012 Posted January 19, 2012 Would have thought a projector of that age it was not worth it. be better just getting a better new one with a three year bulb warranty. sods law says repair it for £150 then shortly after bulb goes then you would have to throw anothe 100 or so pounds at it, just not worth it. 1
Marc-Engineer Posted January 20, 2012 Posted January 20, 2012 Im an Epson approved repair center but i am inclined to agree with TechSupp for an S4 is a little dated now a new one would give you 5 year on site cover Marc Projector Engineer 1
