Butters Posted December 14, 2011 Posted December 14, 2011 I'm on 'The Progenitor' server. RP-PVE. Sorry but I have to keep myself into the lore of the game!
flyinghaggis Posted December 20, 2011 Posted December 20, 2011 Got it installed the other day but couldn't manage to log on so I'm gonna give it a try again tonight when I get home! What server's everyone playing on? Lightside/darkside?

What server's everyone playing on? Lightside/darkside? 3 of us are on the server Hidden Beks Dark side, the dark side guild is up too so if you login anyone can invite you. Not been able to login for a few days but hope to get a chance later tonight.
ihaveaproblem Posted December 20, 2011 Posted December 20, 2011 Considering buying this. Cant really decide. Not sure if it's my sort of game. I watched a few videos and the pvp didn't seem great and it seems to be all quests ?
ZeroHour Posted December 21, 2011 Author Posted December 21, 2011 Has it launched yet? How smoothly did it go? Yeh its all out, the launch went well mostly, there are a couple of servers with big queues but most are fine.
Butters Posted January 4, 2012 Posted January 4, 2012 How's everyone getting on with SWTOR now? I'm a level 50 Commando Medic - really enjoying the end game OPS/Flashpoints.
Valentine Posted January 5, 2012 Posted January 5, 2012 Doing the Imperial version myself, 50 Bounty Hunter Mercenary (DPS). Had good fun levelling, about 50/50 solo or with a friend, both are viable and fun and if playing with others the game manages the fact you are on different "stories" (if you are different classes) really well. With the addition of companions you can pretty much level solo as any spec without too much difficulty. Tried the easiest Operation yesterday which was fun if a little simplistic after playing WoW for so long (but it was on normal mode). Also the last boss did manage to keep us all in combat after he died so no-one could get any loot which was a touch annoying. I actually think they have a lot of nice ideas with the warzones at the moment. The commentary you get in Huttball is especially amusing, and it is actually useful, keeping you up to date with whats going on in the Pit (who has the ball, failed passes, ball resets etc). They have said they are going to be doign a lot with PvP in upcoming patches included new warzones as well. The world PvP zones are a complete failure at the moment as they have no real point to them, this is also going to be changed soon also. It's still pretty raw compared to its established competitors but with the fanbase and initial interest there is it could go a long way.
Butters Posted January 5, 2012 Posted January 5, 2012 PVP on my server is awful seeing as the population seems to be 70/30 in favour of the Empire so I'm sticking to PVE for now.
