Projector overheating

We’ve got a Sanyo PLC-SW35 projector which keep shutting down due I presume to overheating. The lamp was changed 5 months ago and the filters are clean. The case has been removed and dust blown out. Any ideas?

Just got a similar issue with a Sony VPL6 projector. The bulb is fine but decides itself when it wants to fire the bulb. When started it just starts the fan, opens the shutter door, waits a while then shuts the shutter door again. Took it down last week, messed about checking the bulb was OK in another projector, then put it back and hey presto it worked. Can't be doing that everyweek though so think its something overheating. Any other suggestions welcome.

Hello, does any one know of any cheap projector repair centres within the North East or around us. Anything will be a big help!!!!
