Greetings all,

I am currently attempting to setup a WebDAV service on a test server, using Windows Server 2008 w/ IIS 7. Over a https:// connection.

I have got as far as being able to connect to the webdav folders and viewing all of the contents, by mapping the drive. But when ever I try to open a Microsoft Document (word, excel, etc..) I keep getting this message pop up

Capture.PNG

Might I also add that the file opens up but won't save.

I have a feeling its permissions related but i'm not sure where to look?

also I am logged on as admin when trying this so there shouldn't be any permissions problems surely?

Has anyone come across this before?

Just an Update:

I have now found that Windows Xp Client Machines, are able to access the WebDAV file and open/save the work.

Also anyone that is struggling with this and mapping network drives over https, I don't think it can be done. The only way I've been able to get that to work is by going to:

My Network Places > Add New Network Place

then putting the correct details in there.

This then creates a networked folder in My Network Places
