Leonardo di Caprio to play Alan Turing?

 

Looks like Leonardo DiCaprio may be playing Alan Turing in a movie about his life. To me this is a far more important figure in history than people like Zuckerburg and as such much more worthy of a movie.

Agreed, in many ways such an obvious movie choice. It's surprising that there hasn't been a big budget thrown at it before.

While most of us have heard of Turing... many will not have and that's why I think he's a far from obvious choice for a film subject.

 

I endured some very tedious History of Computing lectures at university *mumble* years ago and it's only through these that I'm in the know.

 

Which doesn't mean I'm slating the film btw!
