ICT Web Technician - Okehampton College

 

Required as soon as possible for 20 hours per week, an enthusiastic and committed individual to support and develop the college VLE system. You will be working very closely with the Director of E-Learning to integrate interactive learning resources across the college curriculum. You will also support heads of Faculty to develop bespoke learning and assessment systems to enhance schemes of work. You will also have responsibility for maintaining the college website under the direction of the College Website working committee. Experience in web development would be an advantage, although training will be provided.

 

You will be required to work 20 hours per week, to be worked flexibly by arrangement with the Principal and the Director of E-Learning.

 

This post will be based at Okehampton College but there may be opportunity to work across schools within the federation as directed.

 

This post is temporary until 31 August 2012, due to the uncertainty of the school’s budget for 2012/13 and the impact this may have on the schools staffing structure from September 2012. The staffing structure will be reviewed during the Summer term 2012 with a view to retaining posts where possible.
