6Foot2 Posted September 30, 2011 Posted September 30, 2011 Lego has brought its popular building blocks into the smartphone age with a new augmented-reality iPhone game, called "Life of George". The titular George tasks players with recreating objects from his travels using 144 real-life Lego blocks. You build whatever you have seen on the smartphone as fast as possible, then snap a picture to score points - placing the completed model on a piece of cardboard marked with a dotted pattern helps the phone identify each Lego piece. Players can also take photos to import their own creations into the game, then challenge their friends to a 'build-off'. You can find out more about the game, which comes out on 1 October, on George's Facebook page.
