readiness review

Has anyone ever been tasked with doing a comprehensive review/technical review of an organisations readiness to move from traditional “each user having a windows workstation and their own desk” to moving to a hot desking thin client environment?

 

Kind of like identifying “well working this way/with this software/saving here etc won’t work when there is no 1:1 workstation/user availability?”

 

I just want a huge list of suggestions what needs to be considered in terms of users, applications, policies for current IT working environment to when moving to thin client – and identify huge gaps.

 

Any input most welcome.
