Kingsbury High is a large, successful, heavily over-subscribed 11-18, mixed, multi-ethnic comprehensive school set in an attractive suburban location surrounded by parkland. Our network has recently been upgraded, and comprises of 3 large VMware hosts with 20 virtual servers, nearly 700 workstations, 200 laptops, 40 plus printers. We have recently moved our servers from Novell to Microsoft 2008R2, and are using RDS & TMG services amongst many.

We are looking for an experienced, highly competent Desktop and Network Technician who is able to provide excellent desktop support with Microsoft and Windows operating systems.

Duties will include maintenance of the school's network, installing new software and upgrading existing applications, providing technical support for teachers and pupils, maintaining ICT hardware such as computers, printers, scanners and digital photographic equipment. The ideal candidate must have strong communication skills both verbal and written, coupled with proven customer facing experience as well as being self-motivated team player.For an application form, please email
