impero wont pick up computers

Afternoon all. we just imaged an I.T room and i missed out impero. I just tired to deply it self round the room and it says its installed but doesnt show it in the console. (it shows the old names)

 

Is there something silly that im missing out???

Sorry missed this yesterday. Sounds like got vlans running. If make sure got a dns entry called Impero_server and point that towards your Impero servers then the clients will start to appear. If still running into problems let me know and I will remote in etc.

But the funny thing is that it picked up the other it room thats on the same vlan and the other 2 computers that didnt get imaged. but not the others. We got just the one server for impereo. Will check or create the dns for it monday morning.

 

Will speak to the NM as im the only the techy!

It Will do. The others will have IP of the Impero server stored as been running before etc.

 

DNS entry will sort it as clients are set to look for that along with few other methods if it can't find a valid Impero server.
