I use DropBox to enable convenient file access.

On holiday in Israel I stuffed a load of pictures in to the Public folder so that people could see them.

To do this I used my iPad over a secure wireless connection.

Now, I've discovered that I'm getting other users files in my DropBox file system, not just in the Public folder. Quite random stuff and some bizarre things too.

I've checked the security and changed the password several times but it's still happening. Files that aren't mine that I keep deleting keep reappearing.

I've removed the DropBox client from all my PCs except my iPad.

Has anyone else come across this. Can't find anything similar on the mighty Google and so far DropBox haven't responded to my email query.

You could try logging into your account online and check what devices are attached to your account. Can be found under Account>My Computers. It should provide you with a list of devices that are attached along with the version of dropbox and allow you to unlink it if you no longer want access from that device.

Edit: Should have read the replys better - ZeroHour already suggested this :)
