Windows 7 roaming profiles

Hey,

 

So, we're deploying Windows 7 here and was wondering how other people had their roaming profiles setup for staff? Ideally we want staff laptops to have a roaming profile (cached at home) with folders redirected to our server for backup etc, but how do you people setup your shares and folder structure on the server for this and which folders would you (not) redirect?

 

Pupils aren't such an issue, we just use mandatory profiles with Docs redirected to their home drive.

I have been using a new setup which is working alright lately. Local profiles with everything but appdata redirected and synced with offline files. This does mean that certain settings don't transfer across but it makes for really quick logons and no silly little error bubbles about failing to load the profile correctly.
